The unincorporated area of Harrison Township is divided into districts or zones.. In order to promote and protect the public health, safety, and general welfare of residents of Harrison Township, the Board of Township Trustees has adopted a Zoning Resolution..



The Harrison Township Fire Department is charged with the responsibility of providing professional, efficient fire protection, fire prevention, emergency medical services, rescue and other general emergency and educational services to the citizens it serves.



Maintenance includes road surface, snow plowing, ditch maintenance, mowing, and road signs.  Please call if there is a condition that calls for immediate attention, such as a missing stop sign.

Board of Trustee Meetings: 1st & 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:00PM

Rural Zoning Commission Meetings: January, March, May, July, September, November — 2nd Monday at 6:00PM

The Harrison Township Rural Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Monday, March 18, 2024, at 6:00pm to review and vote on an application to change zoning from Agricultural Land to Planned Business. The Delong Company, Inc. is proposing a container storage lot, allowing for a total of 628 spaces for wheeled or stacked shipping containers.
