Meeting Minutes
April 20, 2015
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Leah Black at 7:00pm. Present were: Leah Black, Kenny Cookson, Larry Smith, Frank Miles, Margaret Egbert, Debi Hulse and Joe DeFelice. Also present were property owners Wayne Fontaine and Joan Fontaine.
The meeting’s purpose was to hear a Variance for the Fontaine’s property located at16172 US Highway 23, Ashville, Ohio. The Fontaine’s were asking for a variance to add an addition onto their existing garage.
Debi read the rules of the meeting.
Joe read the Zoning regulations. The code is for buildings to be at least 130 feet from the center of the road. The Fontaine’s new garage would be 123 feet from the center of the road. They are asking for a 7 foot variance.
Wayne Fontaine spoke of the proposed plan for the garage. He also stated the reasoning of the proposed change.
The proposed variance was discussed.
The Board unanimously agreed that there was no problem. The Variance was approved April 20, 2015. Joe gave the Fontaine’s paperwork and the necessary information for them to continue the process of building an addition.
Kenny moved to adjourn, 2nd by Larry. Meeting adjourned at 7:16pm
