HARRISON TOWNSHIP ZONING APPEALS BOARD
April 8, 2019
The Harrison Township Zoning Appeals Board held its regularly scheduled, quarterly meeting on Monday, April 8, 2019 at 7:00pm at the Harrison Township Building, 2746 Weigand Road, Lockbourne, OH 43137.
The meeting was called to order at 7:00pm by Chairman Leah Black.
Present were: Leah Black, Peg Egbert, Frank Miles, Buck Spangler, Kenny Cookson, Debi Hulse and Dale Hoover.
The minutes of the January 14 2019 minutes were read by Debi Hulse, secretary. Kenny Cookson moved to accept the minutes. Buck Spangler 2nd the motion. The minutes were approved as read. Debi Hulse, secretary, read the minutes of the January 14, 2019 Hearing. Peg Egbert moved to accept the minutes. Frank Miles 2nd the motion. The minutes were approved as read.
Greenlawn Sales has already moved units to the new bottom addition. Units have been moving in and out. The Board agreed that the addition and lot looks nice.
Leah Black brought up the Renick Farm Market. She asked what was going on at that location. Is it a church? Dale Hoover, Zoning Inspector, read the rules 29:02 about signs and 29:03C about signs. He also read 27:07C about permanent signs. He stated that agriculture and religious activities are exempt. Dale Hoover stated that he will check on the situation.
Debi Hulse stated that Mary Ann Elliot sent a message to the board. The copier is jammed and needs to be serviced. It is out of commission tonight. If anyone uses it and it jams, please call Mary Ann and inform her of the situation. Leah Black noted that nobody on this board has used the copier.
Frank Miles stated that trash has been blown into the ditch and fence line on Air Base Road between Ashville Pike and Lockbourne Eastern Road. It looks bad.
Dale Hoover, Zoning Inspector, stated that he had a certified letter sent to a resident on SR 752, Ashville. The letter asks the owner to clean-up the property. Dale Hoover has heard nothing in return.
The Zoning Appeals Board will hold 2 hearing next Monday, January 15, 2019 starting at 7:00pm.
The next regularly scheduled, quarterly meeting will be Monday, July 8, 2019 at 7:00pm.
Kenny Cookson moved to adjourn the meeting. Frank Miles 2nd the motion. The meeting adjourned at 7:50pm.
