HARRISON TOWNSHIP SPECIAL TRUSTEE MEETING

December 27, 2018

SPECIAL MEETING CALL TO ORDER:

Chairman Joe DeFelice called the Special Trustee Meeting of December 27, 2018 to order at 7:00am at the Harrison Township Building, 2746 Weigand Road, Lockbourne, Ohio.  Attending were Trustee Joe DeFelice, Trustee Mike Freeman, Trustee Bill Welsh, Fiscal Officer MaryAnn Elliott and Fire Chief Chad Noggle.

Mr. Welsh made a motion to waive the reading of the minutes from the previous meeting and Dr. Freeman seconded the motion.  The Trustees voted with three affirmative votes to approve the motion.

The following Legal Notice was printed in the Circleville Herald on December 26, 2018 and was posted on the Township website:

The Harrison Township Trustees will hold a special meeting at the Township Building on Weigand Road on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 7am to discuss and decide on a personnel matter.

Mr. DeFelice made a motion to go into executive session at 7:01am to discuss a personnel issue at the Fire Department and invited Chief Chad Noggle to join the executive session.  Dr. Freeman seconded the motion and the Trustees voted: Mr. DeFelice, yes; Mr. Welsh, yes; Dr. Freeman, yes.

At 7:05am Mr. Welsh made a motion to leave executive session.  Dr. Freeman seconded the motion and the Trustees voted: Mr. DeFelice, yes; Mr. Welsh, yes; Dr. Freeman, yes.

RESOLUTION 18-119

A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE AGREEMENT FOR EARLY RETIREMENT FOR FIREFIGHTER DANIEL L HEETER AS WRITTEN AND ATTACHED.  Mr. Welsh moved and Mr. DeFelice seconded and the Trustees voted.  Mr. DeFelice, yes; Dr. Freeman, yes; Mr. Welsh, yes.  Resolution 18-119 was approved.

At 7:13am Daniel Heeter arrived and was presented with the agreement.  All officials, the Fire Chief and Dan Heeter agreed to and signed the agreement.

ADJOURNMENT:

With no further comments and all scheduled matters attended to, Mr. Welsh moved and Dr. Freeman seconded the motion to adjourn the December 27, 2018 Board of Trustee Special Meeting.  All were in favor and the meeting was adjourned at 7:17am.
