HARRISON TOWNSHIP YOUNKIN PUBLIC HEARING
February 19, 2013
CALL TO ORDER:
Chairman Keith Peters called the Younkin Public Hearing of February 19, 2013 to order at 6:00pm at the Township Hall, 2746 Weigand Road, Lockbourne, Ohio. Attending were Trustee Paul Welsh, Trustee Doug Clark, Fiscal Officer MaryAnn Elliott, and Zoning Inspector Joe DeFelice. Also present were Barbara Younkin, Larry Valentine, Todd Younkin and Kim Green.
The Trustees read the legal notice and reviewed the Zoning Commission’s recommendation to approve the proposed amendment submitted by Barbara D Younkin, 1433 Duvall Road, Lockbourne, OH 43137. The proposed amendment would have the following effects:
- Accept the proposed modified Younkin zoning application for the property located at 11015 US Route 23, Lockbourne, OH 43137, from Planned Commercial to Planned Business which includes the proposed auction house.
Mr. Valentine explained the proposed use of the property is to hold occasional auctions on Thursdays and Saturdays. No one was present with any objections to this zoning amendment.
A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE PROPOSED MODIFICATION TO THE EXISTING PLANNED BUSINESS TO INCLUDE AN AUCTION HOUSE AT THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 11015 US ROUTE 23, LOCKBOURNE, OH 43137. Mr. Clark moved and Mr. Welsh seconded. Roll call: Mr. Peters, Yes; Mr. Welsh, Yes; Mr. Clark, Yes. Motion carried to approve R13-20.
The Trustees signed the amendment. Joe reminded the applicants that the approved amendment does not take effect for thirty days.
With no further comments Mr. Clark moved and Mr. Welsh seconded the motion to adjourn the Public Hearing of February 19, 2013. All were in favor and the hearing was adjourned at 6:10pm.
