HARRISON TOWNSHIP TRUSTEE SPECIAL MEETING
February 16, 2017
SPECIAL MEETING CALL TO ORDER:
Chairman Bill Welsh called the Special Trustee Meeting of February 16, 2017 to order at 10:00am at the Harrison Township Building, 2746 Weigand Road, Lockbourne, Ohio. Attending were Trustee Joe DeFelice, Trustee Bill Welsh and Fiscal Officer MaryAnn Elliott. Trustee Doug Clark was absent. Dale Hoover and Skip Morrow were also present.
This special meeting was called to appoint a Zoning Inspector for Harrison Township. The following Legal Notice was published in the Circleville Herald on February 14, 2017.
“The Harrison Township Trustees will hold a special meeting to appoint a Township Zoning Inspector on Thursday, February 16 at 10:00 am at the Township Building, 2746 Weigand Road, Lockbourne, OH.”
ACTION ON MINUTES:
Mr. DeFelice moved to waive the reading and approval of the minutes from the last meeting. Mr. Welsh seconded and the Trustees voted with two yes votes to approve the motion.
The Trustees discussed the position and job description of Zoning Inspector with Dale Hoover.
RESOLUTION 17-14
A RESOLUTION TO APPOINT DALE D HOOVER AS THE HARRISON TOWNSHIP ZONING INSPECTOR AS OF FEBRUARY 16, 2017 AT A MONTHLY SALARY OF $700.00. Mr. DeFelice moved and Mr. Welsh seconded and the Trustees voted with two yes votes to approve R17-14.
Fiscal Officer MaryAnn Elliott administered the Oath of Office for Dale Hoover.
Dale was given an Employee Handbook and employment forms to complete.
ADJOURNMENT:
With no further comments and all scheduled matters attended to, Mr. DeFelice moved and Mr. Welsh seconded the motion to adjourn the February 16, 2017 Board of Trustee Special Meeting. All were in favor and the meeting was adjourned at 10:10am.
