HARRISON TOWNSHIP ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
JULY 11, 2016
The Harrison Township Zoning Appeals Board net Monday, July 11, 2016 at 7:00pm at the Harrison Township Building. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Leah Black. Present were: Leah Black, Peg Egbert, Kenny Cookson, Frank Miles, Debi Hulse and Doug Czako. Absent was Buck Spangler. Also present was Kelly Spriggs.
Debi read the minutes from the regular quarterly April 11, 2016 meeting. Kenny moved that the minutes be approved 2nd by Frank. The 4-11-16 minutes were approved. Debi read the June 6, 2016 meeting minutes. There is a correction to the minutes. In the 1st paragraph Brian should replace Brain. Frank moved that the minutes be approved as corrected. Motion 2nd by Peg. The 6-6-16 minutes were approved as corrected.
The Dan Bailey property was addressed. Frank stated there has been no resolve in this matter. Doug stated that Joe DeFelice turned the matter over to the Prosecutor’s Office. Doug has emailed Jaime at the Prosecutor’s Office. Frank would like to see the letter sent again and also would like to see the letter in writing. He has had 2 neighbors, Ron Bell and Ron Goodling, inquire regarding this matter. Both have filed complaints in the past. This has been an on-going problem since 2008. Frank will file a new, official, written complaint. He will take forms and have the neighbors file complaints if they desire.
Frank recently found 2 cars and a motor behind a house on Bulen Pierce Road. Frank will file an official complaint.
Doug: The trustees want a Seniority List or Chain of Command. This will be needed if the Chairman is unavailable and the next in line can handle a specific matter. The Chain is: Leah Black, Kenny Cookson, Frank Miles, and Peg Egbert.
Frank would like to request the trustees to look at Ryan Thompson to serve as an alternate member of this board. The alternate would replace an absent member. Peg moved to adjourn meeting. 2nd by Kenny. Meeting adjourned.
Next scheduled meeting is Monday, October 10, 2016.
