HARRISON TOWNSHIP ZONING COMMISSION
MEETING MINUTES
July 8, 2019
The Harrison Township Zoning Commission held their regularly scheduled, quarterly meeting on Monday, July 8, 2019 at the Harrison Township building, 2746 Weigand Road, Lockbourne, OH 43137 at 6:00pm.
The meeting was called to order by Ronde Cook-Brushart at 6:00pm. Present were: Ronde Cook-Brushart, Matt Rayburn, Lisa Darnell, Debi Hulse and Dale Hoover. Absent was Kelly Spriggs.
Debi Hulse, Secretary, stated that the Minutes of the April 8, 2019 meeting were sent to each member prior to the meeting. Each member read the minutes prior to the meeting. Matt Rayburn moved to accept the minutes and Lisa Darnell 2nd the motion. The minutes were approved as read.
OLD BUSINESS:
Last month, the sign at Renick’s Farm Market was questioned. Dale Hoover, Zoning Inspector, stated that religious and agricultural signs have no rules or regulations.
Lisa Darnell asked if Dale had checked the trees planted at the Vance’s business on Ashville Pike. Dale Hoover stated that with all the rain we have had, they did not make it.
NEW BUSINESS:
The Zoning Commission is interested in adopting new regulations regarding the size of signage. Dale Hoover, Zoning Inspector, stated that Circleville Township have instituted new regulations. For the next meeting, the Commission will examine sign regulations for possible adoption.
The next regularly scheduled, quarterly meeting will be Monday, October 14, 2019 at 6:00pm.
Matt Rayburn moved to adjourn the meeting. Ronde Cook-Brushart 2nd the motion. Meeting was adjourned.
