Harrison Township Zoning Appeals Board

The Harrison Township Zoning Appeals Board July meeting was called to order by chair Leah Black at 7:00 pm. Present were Leah Black, Margaret “Peggy” Egbert, Larry Smith, Frank Miles, Joe DeFelice, and Robin Welsh.
Minutes from the July 8th meeting were not available to read.
Joe DeFelice reported the case against Pavel and Tasia Burdak has been turned over to the county prosecutor. They are currently within the 30 days from the letter sent by the prosecutor’s office. The letter was sent out on September 16th. The Burdak’s have until the 16th of October to comply. Joe will follow up with prosecutor’s office after that date.
Joe reported a new violation complaint was made by the neighbors of Danny and Theresa Bailey at 10925 Lockbourne-Eastern Road. They are in voilation of section 26.05 – yard requirements. The first notice of violation was sent out on July 31, 2013. The second notice was sent out on September 3, 2013 and a copy was sent to the prosecutor’s office. The trustees must pass a resolution at their next meeting before the prosecutor’s office can handle the case.
Joe asked the board to refer anyone wanting to make a complaint to complete the form available online.
Joe reported a notice has been sent to Barbara Younkin for violation of signage per article XXIX at 11015 U.S. 23 for the auction house business.
Peggy moved to adjourn the meeting. Larry second it. Motion passed.
