Harrison Township Board of Zoning Appeals met at the Township house on Weigand Road on April 11, 2011 at 7:00pm. The meeting was called to order by chairman Black. Present were Smith, Miles, Black, Egbert and Mr. Joe DeFelice, zoning insspector. One guest, Dorothy Green. The meetings of the January meeting were read and approved. Mr. Joe DeFelice informed the committee that Mr. David Whipple from an earlier meeting had made his fee for the money owed to the township and Mr. Al Shelton will let the board know when Mr. Whipple is up to code on his building. Mr. DeFelice informed the committee that there would be a new website set up by the trustees and would be published. All members to sign names correctly and the web should be ready within two weeks. Included in this will be the following articles:
Zoning resolution entire book
Zoning fees
Zoning maps
Record of complaint form
Driveway access
Rural mail boxes (placement)
Also opinion to 17.08H for proper fencing and screening on Individual property
Discussion was held on how Mr. DeFelice could enforce the rules. Discussion by several members of the board occurred, but nothing was clarified during the discussion. The members advised the secretary to write and inform the secretary of the trustees that members didn’t get paid for the special meeting on December 13, 2010, but did get paid in January for a regular meeting. Egbert didn’t get paid for January Meeting, Miles didn’t get paid for December meeting. This report was sent to the secretary of the Trustees on April 15, 2011. As there was no more business to be discussed, Egbert made motion for the meeting to
